It’s so easy to fall into the trap… when things go balls up, we start to ruminate and before you can say “show me the light!” the rumination has led you into spiralling abyss that is depression. Here’s my story, I’m sharing it as a Vlog and I hope you can see that with a bit of perseverance, self believe and a kick ass professional (Meee!) you can rise above the clouds. Ruminating can cause symptoms of stress too, leading emotions and thoughts to spiral into negativity. Secure your free place today. https://youtu.be/Nyg7VHO2jPc

Children can teach you so much about self belief and self esteem Have you ever observed how toddlers roll?  You should; seriously, there’s a great deal to learn about self esteem and self belief from them. Teens and adults can get bogged down with ‘silent life suckers’ you know, the things that tell you, how you should be, think, feel .  What is and isn’t ‘in’ or acceptable, unattainable images constantly in your face, this can have a huge impact on your self-esteem.  All these ‘silent life suckers ‘ can and do start to create doubt,…

The word ‘Nostalgia’ has such romantic connotations. I want to share my Nostalgia discovery with you. So often we hear that you shouldn’t live in the past, I absolutely agree with that statement… IF you re-live, all the negative things that happened… the things that make you say “I Wish” This is a very negative way to go through life as your brain cannot differentiate reality from imagination. “Ohh Really?, oh dear, no that’s not good but perhaps there’s a reason, I’ll go and have a chat with them” I heard myself trying to be empathetic with my neighbour’s woeful tale…a part of me, well actually, a great deal of me was completely distracted. A piano outside one of the houses…the new neighbours who had just moved in a couple of days ago clearly didn’t want it anymore; perhaps they didn’t have space for it? I guess they must have been reluctant to see it go. The weather was fine and perhaps they thought they’d leave it out…

So the debate begins…a little late in coming in my opinion but it’s here and thank goodness for that! It is now estimated that a child takes approximately £300 worth of technology to school daily…crazy right? We were lucky to get a new pencil case unless the old one had a crater of a hole in it. Many schools are aiming to go paperless…that new trend that most local authority offices have been trying to fine tune for almost a decade!  It is not possible because it is not practical…can you imagine people like me who worked in Learning and…

Then, I looked at the guy who was sat three rows behind me with utter disbelief and asked “seriously? That can’t be the case, it would be extremely heartless and totally out of order if that were true” He gave me a bit of a smirk as my question was admission of my finely tuned eaves dropping ability. “Oh ay” he replied in his very strong Geordie accent “I know, that’s why I sent ‘em an email as soon as I realised what the driver had done, it’s to’ally out of order, poor fella hasn’t even got his wallet and…
